We hold it to be the mission of the Church "to do justice and love kindness and walk humbly with your God" (Micah 6:8).

     "The first (commandment) is...'you shall love the Lord your God with all your soul and with all your mind, and with all your strength'  The second is 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'  There are no commandments greater than these." (Mark 12:29-31).

     Accepting these as the supreme commandments of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, we East Congregational United Church of Christ, Inc., of Concord, NH, open our doors and ministry to all, affirming and honoring the dignity and worth of each.  We believe each of us is a unique creation of God. We welcome people of any age, race, gender, sexual orientation, economic status, physical, emotional, and mental capacity, and those in traditional and non-traditional families.
